(INFO) We designed the visual identity for the exhibition and photo book “Morocco” by photographer Salvo Canuti, an editorial and visual project born from a journey through Morocco and built around images able to convey the strength of an ancient culture, rich in colors, atmospheres, and sensory impressions. The project involved the creation of a visual system able to support both the exhibition and editorial dimensions of the work, connecting photography, communication, and graphic structure.

Concept
The idea behind the project was to build a visual identity that would not simply present the book and the exhibition, but would evoke the very substance of the photographic reportage. For this reason, we selected some of the most powerful and evocative images from the book, identifying one main shot to become the central element of the communication.
This image was reworked in negative, transforming it into a visual sign able to suggest at once the language of photography, the act of taking a picture, and the depth of Salvo Canuti’s gaze. The result is an essential yet atmospheric graphic system, where photography is not merely displayed, but reinterpreted in order to strengthen its evocative power and build an identity that is coherent, intense, and recognizable.
