(INFO) We designed the visual identity for the Infectious Disease Prevention Meetings, a project organized by AJS Connection within schools and correctional facilities across Sicily. A delicate context, in which visual communication had to translate scientific content and complex topics into a form that was accessible, clear, and capable of engaging different audiences.
Concept
The core of the project was the development of a visual imagery in which 3D and motion design become tools for communication and public education. We created three-dimensional elements inspired by viral and microbiological forms, transforming them into graphic presences able to convey the subject in a direct yet non-didactic way.
These 3D objects were not treated as simple illustrations, but as elements of a broader visual language: suspended, luminous, almost tactile forms designed to make visible what normally remains unseen. In this way, design took on a dual function: on one hand, attracting attention; on the other, helping people understand complex content through a strong, contemporary, and engaging aesthetic.
The result is a visual system that shows how graphic design can go beyond decoration and become a true tool for awareness, culture, and prevention.
